New Saab app highlights arrival of Saab 9-4X

Saab is celebrating the launch of its first crossover vehicle, the 9-4X, by issuing a free app including a guide to its features, updates on Saab activities and easy-to-use links for social network sharing. Available at the iTunes Apps Store, Saab’s latest application offers uprated functionality. It features a dynamic presentation of the 9-4X, premiered at the Los Angeles internationaI auto show, and connections to the Saab Newsroom at www.saab.com and Saab’s YouTube channel. The contents can be easily shared via e-mail or social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

“We see our updated app as a fantastic opportunity to maximize the interest around Saab and its products,” says Johan Grundin, Saab’s Interactive Marketing Manager. “We complete the current experience of the new Saab 9-5 and provide a presentation of the Saab 9-4X. We also introduce Saab Newsroom and our ambition is to make future apps available for other mobile platforms.” The Saab app can be downloaded without charge at the iTunes Apps Store.
