Lexus introduced GS 300h

Lexus GS 300hLexus is expanding the GS range with all-new GS 300h featuring highly efficient full hybrid powertrain. The GS 300h is a front engine rear-wheel drive premium sedan equipped with a two-motor full hybrid system featuring a 2.5l 4-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine with a D-4S direct injection technology. The fuel consumption is targeted below 5.0 l/100 km resulting in class-leading CO2 emissions below 110g/km.

Thanks to its outstanding environmental performance and its engine displacement positioned right at the heart of its segment, the new GS 300h will play a key role in expanding Lexus’ segment share, with a special focus on corporate fleets. The new GS 300h will be launched by the end of 2013 in various global markets, including China, Europe, Asian countries, Australia and New Zealand.

The GS 300h is equipped with an even more extended range of advanced safety features, adding up on the existing package already available on the GS line up. New features include a redesigned full-color Head-Up Display (HUD) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) function, alarming the driver in case of approaching vehicles when backing out of a parking spot. The new GS 300h is also equipped with full LED fog lamps, which is new for hybrid models.
