To celebrate Chrysler winning the 1997 FIA GT2 class championship, Dodge released a limited edition version of the Dodge Viper in 1998. Based on the GTS Coupe, the street-legal Dodge Viper GT2 had similar design as the GTS-R racing car.
White with blue stripes, the Dodge Viper GT2 featured high-mounted rear wing, special badging and graphics, front splitter and ground effects. Interior featured blue interior accents, Viper GTS-R seat inserts, five-point restraint system and other special features.
The engine produced 460 horsepower (343 kW) and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque. Only 100 individually numbered Dodge Viper GTS models were produced.
