Large air inlets in the dynamic front, a swift design language in the side and a sporty, low rear give clear visual indication of the car’s tremendous dynamic potential. CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics) elements such as the front splitter, the roof, or the rear diffuser underline the optimized lightweight concept down to the smallest detail.

The BMW 6 Series Coupe looks great in its standard form. Take that as a starting point, add some M exterior and interior design features, and the result is fantastic. Its the new BMW M6 Coupe. At the front end the large air intakes and flared wheel arches create a powerful look. Bmw M6 also has a newly designed M kidney grille with M6 badge. The grille’s black, paired kidney grille slats have a bit of the same design as the M wheels. The new BMW M6 Coupe is fitted with 19-inch M light-alloy wheels as standard. The forged wheels feature seven double-spokes in a two-tone finish.

BMW M5 gets a minor facelift

A particularly striking innovation in the appearance of the BMW M5 is the M “kidney grille”, which now features the model designation and whose slats cite the double-spoke design of the M light alloys. In addition to standard xenon headlights, there is now the option of Adaptive LED Headlights which emit a particularly bright white light generated by a pair of LED units situated horizontally in the middle of each light ring. A standard feature on the BMW M5 are the new-design tail lights with strikingly thin LED light strips that generate a high contrast and add to the unmistakable night-time look.

BMW has been involved in MotoGP since 1999 and provides the official Safety Cars also for the 2013 season. This season, the BMW M6 Gran Coupe will spearhead the fleet of Safety Cars in action in the MotoGP World Championship. Powered by a high-rev V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology generating 560 hp, BMW M6 Gran Coupe to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. The Safety Car version of the BMW M6 Gran Coupe has been specially modified for its use as a pace car out on the racetrack.

The BMW M6 Gran Coupe joins the existing Coupe and Convertible models as a third body variant of the BMW M6. The front of the car is dominated by its large air intakes, standard Adaptive LED Headlights and an M kidney grille designed especially for this model. Prominently flared wheel arches, characteristic M gills, aerodynamically optimised exterior mirrors, standard BMW Individual High-gloss Shadow Line package and exclusive 20-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design underline the car’s distinctive appearance, as does twin exhaust tailpipes positioned on the outer edges of the rear apron. Also integrated into the rear apron, and charged with the task of optimising airflow along the car’s underbody, is a diffuser made from CFRP. This extremely lightweight, impressively strong high-tech material is used in the construction of the roof as well. Emulating the harmonious blend of athletic prowess and elegance embodied by the exterior design, the distinctively M cockpit fuses sports car style with generous levels of space and a luxurious ambience. The driver and front passenger can look forward to M sports seats with integral belt guides. And the BMW M6 Gran Coupe’s standard specification also includes Merino leather upholstery with extended features. The rear compartment offers two or three seats.

The new M3 DTM Champion Edition celebrates BMW’s success in the DTM

BMW M GmbH is celebrating BMW’s success in the DTM with the unveiling of the BMW M3 DTM Champion Edition. Mimicking the looks of Bruno Spengler’s racing car, this special-edition model is available exclusively in Frozen Black metallic, while the carbon flaps and gurney, various dark chrome elements, matt black wheels and sections of the race car’s livery also betray its close links with the triumphant BMW M3 DTM. The theme is continued by the BMW M stripe design over the CFRP roof and boot lid, BMW M logo to the rear of the front wheel arches and decals in the rear side windows.
