Nissan GT-R Track Pack Edition 2012 is now at the European showrooms

Nissan GT-R Track Pack Edition models are now available in European showrooms. The GT-R Track Pack has been developed to deliver the ultimate in performance: it’s lighter, faster and boasts a track-tuned chassis with enhanced braking performance. The result is the most focused GT-R yet, the ultimate track day star. Developed by Nissan in collaboration with Bilstein and NordRing Corp, the tuning company owned by Toshio Suzuki, the Track Pack suspension setup transforms the GT-R into a stiffly sprung supercar ready for the racetrack. With virtually all compliance dialed out of the suspension, the GT-R corners as flat as a race car and allows the nitrogen-filled 20-inch Dunlop SP MAXX GT600 DSST CTT run-flat tyresto maintain optimum contact with the track at all times thus providing maximum grip under all conditions.

Nissan launches a limited run of Juke-R

Nissan has announced that its innovative Juke-R crossover will be made available to buy in a very limited run on build-to-order basis. The 3.8-litre, 160mph Juke-R made its global debut in Dubai in January this year, attracting enormous attention and, as a result, Nissan has now received firm orders for three cars to be built. Two have come from a high-profile and well-respected member of Dubai society. Nissan will build more Juke-Rs upon request and will be taking orders in the coming four weeks, before production starts in earnest. While the original Juke-R was based on the MY10 GT-R running gear, the run of new cars will benefit from featuring the drivetrain and chassis of the MY12 GT-R and, with the build of the first cars underway, the first three cars will be delivered to their new owners in late summer.

Nissan Hi-Cross Concept

Created in Japan, Nissan Hi-Cross Concept is compact yet surprisingly roomy, elegant yet purposeful and – being a Nissan – it’s clever with it. Its ‘smartness’ takes two forms. Despite its modest external proportions, Hi-Cross Concept has a highly space efficient interior with three rows of seats for seven passengers. Equally as clever is its hybrid drive train, coupling an electric motor – powered by a Nissan-developed compact lithium-ion battery – with a 2.0-litre direct injection petrol engine to provide the performance potential of a 2.5-litre with the economy and emissions expected from a much smaller unit.
