The Volvo’s best-selling model, the XC60 has updated its presence for the 2014. The redesigned front features a new hood shape that emphasises the wide, confident look. In addition, the chrome frame around the grille has been removed and there is also a new, bigger ironmark badge. The radar cover has been painted gloss black, which practically makes it disappear in the grille, and the previously visible washer nozzles have been relocated out of sight under the bonnet. The new integrated tailpipes can be specified with some engine variants. There are also new wheel choices, including 20-inch wheels.

New features available for Volvo S60, V60 and XC60

Volvo has updated the S60, V60 and XC60 for the 2014 model year. Small changes have been made to the cars’ exterior and interior, and there are also some new features available. The previously visible washer nozzles have been relocated out of sight under the bonnet. The radar cover has been painted gloss black, which practically makes it disappear in the grille. The chrome frame around the grille has been removed and the new, bigger ironmark badge enhances the new cars’ self-confident look. The new integrated tailpipes, which can be specified with some engine variants, are the physical and visual link to the technically advanced engines. The new S60, V60 and XC60 offer an extended wheel choice with a variety of designs that increase the personalisation possibilities for customers.

Volvo XC60 offers new D3 diesel variant

For the 2013 model year, Volvo extends the XC60’s diesel engine range with a new entry-level model. The D3 comes with a 5-cylinder, 2.0-litre turbo diesel. The engine has an output of 136 hp and maximum torque of 350 Nm. The D3 is available both with a manual and an automatic gearbox. All variants have start/stop. The combined fuel consumption is 5.7 l/100 km (149 g/km) with the manual gearbox and 6.8 l/100 km (178 g/km) with the automatic.
