Road Test: 2013 BMW M6 Coupe

The BMW 6 Series Coupe looks great in its standard form. Take that as a starting point, add some M exterior and interior design features, and the result is fantastic. Its the new BMW M6 Coupe. At the front end the large air intakes and flared wheel arches create a powerful look. Bmw M6 also has a newly designed M kidney grille with M6 badge. The grille’s black, paired kidney grille slats have a bit of the same design as the M wheels. The new BMW M6 Coupe is fitted with 19-inch M light-alloy wheels as standard. The forged wheels feature seven double-spokes in a two-tone finish.

Road Test: 2013 BMW Z4 sDrive18i

BMW Z4’s new entry level version is the sDrive18i powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine. This same power source can be found from the sDrive20i and sDrive28i models. The four-cylinder 2.0-litre engine features twin-scroll turbocharging, High Precision Direct Petrol Injection, Valvetronic fully variable valve control and Double-Vanos continuously variable camshaft control. In the sDrive18i, the BMW TwinPower Turbo engine delivers 115 kW / 156 hp at 5,000rpm and 240 Newton metres (177 lb-ft) of torque between 1,250 and 4,400 rpm. As standard the engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and the eight-speed automatic is available as an option.

Road Test: 2013 BMW 120d xDrive

For the first time, BMW has equipped the compact 1 Series with the intelligent all-wheel drive system. The first engine variants available with the xDrive are the 120d with the four-cylinder diesel and the M135i with the six-cylinder petrol engine. The 120d comes with the six-speed manual gearbox, while the M135i has the eight-speed automatic. You can choose either the 3-door or this 5-door version.
