For the second year in a row, Renault Megane R.S. will be available in the colours of Red Bull Racing. The exclusive Crépuscule Blue finish takes its inspiration directly from the race team’s famous colours. In addition to its sporty credentials, it stands out as particularly elegant, too, thanks to exterior Platinum Grey details in F1 blade, door handles, door mirror housing and rear lip spoiler, which harmonise splendidly with the striking Crépuscule Blue body colour. Last but not least, a monochrome laurel on the rear side windows celebrates the team’s 2012 Constructors’ world title.

The exterior also features new bumpers and sills, twin exhaust tail-pipes and large-diameter wheels.
Renault Megane Estate GT 220 is a Renault Sport limited edition model for customers who wish to combine the benefits of an estate car with sporty performance. The engine is based on the same high-performance turbocharged two-litre unit as that which sits under the bonnet of Megane R.S. Depending on market, this powerplant will join the model’s existing petrol engines (TCe 180 or 190) and has been made more powerful to satisfy customers looking for a truly sporty powerplant. In addition to delivering peak power of 220hp and maximum torque of 340Nm, this efficient, responsive engine is equipped with Stop&Start. In spite of its undeniable sporty credentials, it returns fuel consumption of just 7.3 litres/100km in everyday use, equivalent to 169g of CO2/km, which represents a highly favourable balance between CO2 emissions and power.

The Alpine Berlinette turns 50 this year and, to mark the event, Renault has created a concept car named Renault Alpine A110-50, dedicated to performance and driving enjoyment. It benefits from the experience gained from the racing Megane Trophy by using the same technical platform. The tubular chassis of the Renault Alpine A110-50 has been stiffened and undergone several developments. The roll cage and bracing in the engine bay have been modified (lowered) in the workshop of Tork Engineering to adapt them to the vehicle’s height, which is lower than that of Megane Trophy. The digital design work was led by Renault Design, Koller and Etud Integral, while final assembly was carried out by Protostyle. The final weight distribution is almost ideal, with 47.8% over the front wheels. To facilitate servicing, the concept car features integral pneumatic jacks. Derived directly from the systems seen in endurance racing, they allow the wheels to be changed extremely quickly.
