The dealership, located at the Astoria Hotel in the fashionable centre of one of the European cultural capitals, will be directed by Tatiana Fitzgerald who is also the Managing Director of Rolls‑Royce Motor Cars Moscow. The new Wraith is the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history. The 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine features direct petrol injection maximise efficiency and reduce emissions. It develops 624 bhp and 800 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 5,500rpm. When required, the Wraith can sprint from zero to 100 km/h in 4,6 seconds. (0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds). Top speed is electronically governed to 250 km/h (155 mph). The combined fuel consumption is 14,0 l/100km and the CO2 emissions 327 g/km. Power is transmitted through an eight-speed automatic ZF transmission.
In 2012 Rolls-Royce sold 3,575 cars, which represents the third consecutive record and the best sales result in the marque’s 108-year history. The record results were achieved despite a number of challenges in 2012. These included global business uncertainty, preparations for the start of production of Phantom Series II and expansion works at the Home of Rolls-Royce in West Sussex to help the company satisfy increasing customer demand for Bespoke personalisation across the model range.
Sands China Ltd. has confirmed the order of five highly bespoke Phantom Series II Extended Wheelbase cars in the first quarter of 2013, while retaining options to expand its fleet in the near future. This is the single largest order of Phantom Series II in the Asia Pacific region. Sands China’s Phantom Series II Extended Wheelbase cars will be finished in Paiza Brown – one of the company’s unique corporate colours. The cars will also feature bespoke elements such as partition walls. Sands China currently owns a Phantom Series I car.
The first Rolls-Royce showroom in Latin America has opened in the Brazilian city of São Paulo, located in the Av. Cidade Jardim. The occasion was marked by a cocktail party attended by customers and local VIPs, hosted by Carlos Ferreirinha, the leading Brazilian expert in luxury. The evening’s entertainment was provided by Tony Gordon, considered to be one of the biggest names in Brazilian soul music.
